”I broke my wrist terribly. He had me in surgery two days later. I’m terrified of the dentist, so imagine surgery. I wasn’t afraid. Post op, a stranger saw me in a sling, asked if he had been the surgeon, and spoke glowingly about him. Very kind. His nurse is also a superstar. She’s also an amazing part of what puts you at ease.”

”I think it’s very important to have someone of Dr. Monto’s qualifications on the island. We do not have a full complement of specialists ordinarily because of course it’s a small community. But Dr. Monto is a genuine expert and leader in his field and it is wonderful to go to him when you need someone for Orthopedics, a sprain, a broken ankle over, any other injury like that.”
